SunRun Assumes Risk, Sells Energy at Discounted Rates

SAN FRANCISCO - August 20, 2007 -

Borrego Solar Systems is launching a pilot program with SunRun Inc that will allow Contra Costa County homeowners to take advantage of an innovative new service to alleviate the risks and significantly lower the costs of solar system installation.

SunRun Inc. is offering homeowners options that will allow them to power their electricity using a solar energy system at a much lower cost, without the responsibility of monitoring and maintaining the system. Once the system is installed, homeowners pay for only the energy used, the same way they are currently billed by a utility company.

There will be two free seminars to provide information about the program to the public.
