SunRun Announces the Winners of the Customer Holiday Lights Contest
Thank you to everyone who participated in our Holiday Lights Contest!
We organized the contest in the spirit of the holidays to share the news about solar energy across communities. We wanted to help customers celebrate the season and enjoy their existing family traditions with clean, renewable energy from the sun! One SunRun customer loved that she was able to talk about the clean solar energy produced on her roof as she was decorating with neighbors. Please keep those conversations going in your communities!
Take a look at the winners of the contest and see how they showcased their solar powered homes this holiday season.
First Place: Rick and Janet from Danville, California will receive a $100 Amazon gift card, LED holiday lights, and bragging rights for the entire year.
Second Place: JoClare and Tom from Spring Valley, California will receive a $75 Amazon gift card and LED holiday lights.
Third Place: Selena and Robert from Los Angeles, California will receive a $50 Amazon gift card and LED holiday lights.
The winners were selected by eco-expert bloggers:
• Michael d’Estries owns and writes for www.ecorazzi.com, a celebrity gossip chronicle about stars making a change in the world through social responsibility.
• Kari McLennan, shares her expertise for green building materials as a consultant and educator for www.TheGreenMama.com.
• Monica Ewing loves home DIY projects, and she shares her latest creations at www.craftynest.com where readers can “step up the fancy, for less.”
• Lynn Jurich, President and co-founder of SunRun, wants to make the world a better place. Working in the solar industry is not only a career decision, but a personal one as well.
