For the past two years, Fast Company has compiled an annual list of the Most Influential Women in Tech (#wit11). We love this! There are so many innovative and hard-working women worthy of this honor.
At SunRun we’re particularly proud of our Co-founder and President, Lynn Jurich. Together with CEO Ed Fenster, Lynn has created a leading cleantech company that strives to bring affordable solar to every home. SunRun now has over 7,000 customers, installs $1.2 million in solar systems every day, and through its network of 25 installation partners employs 3,000 green collar workers.
We look to Lynn and Ed’s exemplary leadership every day. Whether she’s spending afternoon putting fliers on cars at a local subway station to advertise a seminar on solar, or participating in a board meeting at the Sierra Club Foundation, Lynn devotes herself whole-heartedly to getting solar on more rooftops. So, it is only fitting that we nominate our fearless leader Lynn Jurich as a nominee for Fast Company’s 2011 list of the Most Influential Women in Tech (#wit11).
We look forward to seeing the many remarkable female leaders in the industry that Fast Company recognizes on the 2011 list.
