The greater availability of low and no-money down solar leasing is really exciting; such a great alternative method for people who can’t make the high up-front investment in solar. SunRun has a great program. However, I did want to point out that Geoscape Solar has been offering no-money down solar leasing to some clients for more than a year, and state-wide for several months now. They’re a NJ-based solar integrator and deserve recognition for trailblazing this type of financing in the state, I think. The SunRun and Geoscape statewide programs came out around the same time, so maybe it’s not worth splitting hairs–just wanted to give credit where credit is due!
