What do 200 engineering students think about home solar power? Plenty. Yesterday, SunRun’s Director of Sales Operations, Grayson Morris (B.S. and M.S. in mechanical engineering) spoke to over 200 San Jose State University engineering students about affordable solar power for homeowners.
SunRun had been invited to speak for SJSU’s Greentalk Fall 2010 Environmental Speaker Series. In this series, engineers, scientists, and technical experts are invited every Wednesday to SJSU’s Engineering 100W class to discuss how different researchers and industries deal with day-to-day environmental issues.
Grayson had a great time speaking to the students, who were eager to learn about the residential solar industry and SunRun’s third-party ownership model. We invited the students to tweet questions and comments (hashtag #sjsunrun) and write about their solar questions and reactions on Sweet Solar Home. SunRun loved talking about the future of clean energy to these enthusiastic, young students and hope to be invited again.
