This past Monday was a good day here at SunRun, so we wanted to share some of our excitement with our loyal readers.
Rebecca Smith at the Wall Street Journal wrote a great article called Lightening the Load. It talks about many of the steps companies and city governments are taking to make solar power more affordable.
“One of the biggest hurdles solar power faces is the price tag. The fuel is free — but the residential systems that capture the fuel often cost $30,000 to $50,000. And that’s just too steep for most people, especially in tough economic times… SunRun offers homeowners a twist on that arrangement: Customers pay an upfront fee in exchange for lower power costs down the road.”
And, we were also thrilled with the segment on ABC 7 News in the bay area. Take a look!
