We’re proud to announce that SunRun President, Lynn Jurich, has joined The Sierra Club Foundation Board of Directors!
The Sierra Club Foundation is a public charity that helps finance the Sierra Club, along with other environmental organizations. The Foundation’s commitment to education around clean energy aligns closely with SunRun’s mission to provide affordable solar to every homeowner. Already assisting with several campaigns funded by the Foundation, Lynn is currently involved in the Sierra Club California’s “No on Prop 23″ initiative to help educate voters about the negative implications of Prop. 23. Prop 23 would suspend a current California law that curbs greenhouse gas emissions and hurt job growth in cleantech.
“Lynn’s vision for creating a clean alternative to the utility is commendable,” said The Foundation’s executive director Peter Martin, “Lynn will be a valuable part of our team.” We here at SunRun are just as excited and look forward to opportunities to work together to build a greener future.
