Meet Jason. Jason has been working in Inside Sales at SunRun ever since being hired in April, 2011. His job is to talk to people interested in home solar and address their questions and concerns before giving their home a preliminary evaluation. On average, he reaches 50-100 homeowners a day.
“It’s a product I believe in so it’s easy to get others to believe in it too,” says Jason.
From the start, he knew that solar was the industry for him, and he loves working in such a new and innovative field.
“SunRun is exciting. You’re never trudging around doing the same thing every day because there is always something new going on,” says Jason. “There are always new things to know, and it keeps you sharp.”
After looking into a couple of different solar companies, Jason was referred by a friend to SunRun. He instantly connected with SunRun’s business model, and once he got hired, he clicked with the people around him. “It boils down to the people you are around every day,” says Jason. “The people here are what make the experience.”
Jason likes to strike a work/life balance by spending a lot of time outdoors. He plays a number of sports including football and baseball, and also enjoys activities like biking and fishing.
