It’s been an exciting week for SunRun! Yesterday, we announced that SunRun made the Global CleanTech 100 and GoingGreen Silicon Valley Top 100 lists. Today, we’re excited to announce that SunRun’s president and co-founder, Lynn Jurich, has been named a 2010 Women’s Initiative Entrepreneur of the Year!
Awarded by the Women’s Initiative for Self-Employment, a non-profit in the Bay Area, the Entrepreneur of the Year award recognizes female business owners who have transformed communities through job creation and economic revitalization.
“I’ve benefited tremendously from exposure to strong role models and a solid business education throughout my career, and organizations like Women’s Initiative are critical for providing these essential resources to low-income women in the Bay Area,” said Lynn. ”I am honored to receive the Entrepreneur of the Year Award and look forward to ongoing involvement with Women’s Initiative and its community of entrepreneurs.”
