Ken has always been passionate about clean energy.
Ken always considered himself an environmentalist - in fact, he thinks he's the "most environmentally fanatical person he's ever met." He'd looked into solar power in Happy Valley, OR for many years, but was discouraged by the high upfront cost of purchasing panels. "$25,000 was quite a speedbump," he explained.
