Grades of Solar Monitors

There are two grades for solar monitors that rate the monitor's level of accuracy. One grade is designed for an average homeowner to monitor his home solar power system, and is rated to be accurate within +/- 5%. For a higher level of accuracy, there is revenue grade monitoring which is rated to be accurate within +/- 0.2%. Most corporations who have solar power systems demand the higher level of accuracy, because it makes a difference on how much they pay for their electricity bills. Types of Solar Monitors
