Here are the steps to getting your home solar system up and running. Timing may vary. You’ll get specific communication on how long your system will take to install when you sign up.
Your solar installer will complete your final solar system design. Sunrun reviews and approves this design.
A crew visits your home to install your panels. A typical home solar installation takes 2-4 days. Once your panels are installed, a representative from your local authority will conduct an electrical inspection.
Your utility company will come to your home to install a new net meter. The net meter tracks the electricity your system sends to the electric grid and is what allows you to earn and use credits from your utility for your solar electricity. Once the meter is installed, you can turn your system on and enjoy your solar savings! Sunrun will monitor your system for you to make sure everything is working properly.
