Solar Rebates in Colorado

Aquila’s Colorado solar rebate is $2.00/watt for systems up to 10kW; Xcel Energy offers Colorado solar homeowners up to $3.50/watt for systems up to 10kW through their Solar Rewards program. In addition, both utilities offer an additional renewable energy (REC) credit. For customers outside of Excel and Aquila areas, the Governor’s office sets aside $550,000 for 11 rebate programs.
