How does Sunrun decide to go to a new state?

Sunrun takes into account the following when deciding to go to a new state:

  • Price of electricity. For the most part, solar thrives where it can provide a lower cost alternative to traditional electricity.
  • Local and state rebates and incentives. Some states have programs to help lower the cost of solar to the homeowner, others don't.

If you want Sunrun to come to your state, make a request below. We'll keep track of your information and update you with our plans. You should also follow us on Facebook for our latest news.
