Tax Credits and Rebates

The federal government offers a solar tax credit to help motivate people to switch to solar. However, you have to wait until you file your tax return to benefit from the credit. With SunRun Total Solar we do that waiting for you and pass along the savings from the tax credit to you from the start. SunRun Total Solar also passes through any state rebates to you as well.

Summary

With SunRun Total Solar, you make one payment at the beginning to cover your next 18 years of power. The rate you're paying for that power is much less than what you'd otherwise be paying the utility company over the next two decades. The rate you pay SunRun also remains fixed so you are no longer subjected to increases in electricity rates from the local utility company.

After the initial payment, you can sit back and relax while we take care of the rest. At the end of the 18 years, we'll remove the system for free, you can purchase it for its fair market value at that time, or you can renew the agreement.
